Initially, photography and videomaking were just recording techniques for me. I needed to capture some of my light installations and live performances to have evidence for further evaluation. But eventually, those techniques caught me, and I started investigating the opportunities they offer. There is so much to learn, and as I study, I realise how broad and colourful this work can be. I think I have begun a life-long journey with digital art. Fortunately, others drove a significant part of the road before me, and now I can follow them. Among many, I have been influenced and inspired by artists such as Bill Viola, James Turrell, and Pipilotti Rist in my creative practice.
